Garden

We got our garden planted and I'm soooooo excited!!! There is just something about planting things that makes me super happy! This year we got a plot at a community garden instead of dealing with pots. We planted green beans, tomatoes, peppers, and corn. The corn and green beans are already poking out of the ground. I can't wait. One day I'm going to have a huge garden with every fruit and vegetable I can think of... it's going to be awesome. :)

Graduation

Andrew graduated Kindergarten and Liv graduated preschool last month! Liv's preschool had a few days of fun stuff planned the week before and I went along for some of it. These pictures were taken at the park with some of her friends... Kamden, Keeley, and Chandler.

Andrew's school also had a field day and class party that I went to help out with.

These pictures are from his graduation. This is his teacher Mrs. Johnson, pregnant with twin boys!

This pic is blurry but I love the look on his face throwing his cap up.

Goofing off with some of his friends... Lydia, Stella, Katelyn, Mackaiah, and Evan. I'm going to miss going in and helping out at his school with all these funny kids. Hopefully we will see most of them next year.

Andrew and Mrs. Harris, the teacher's aide. As we walked out of the school after graduation, Andrew was really quiet and looked sad. He said he was going to miss his friends and teachers. I have LOVED his school and can't wait for Liv to go next year with him.

Snake Catchers

It wouldn't be summer if we didn't catch a water snake or two, right? Olivia is on a bug catching kick and goes outside every day to dig for all sorts of things. She will even touch spiders! But she hates ants... probably because I curse them every time I see one in my house. She went on a hunt with Ben one afternoon and they came back with this cool snake. We kept it for a couple days and tried to feed it crickets, but eventually let it go. This story reminds me of the times I used to catch water snakes and chase my screaming sister. LOL. Good times.

Cancer Walk 2013

I don't have many pictures of the cancer walk, but it was a fun weekend nonetheless. Despite the fact that Andrew woke up puking the night before, it was a pretty good run. Perfect weather and perfect company. I ran with my aunt Susie this year. We had a blast. On the drive home, Millie puked and we spent the rest of Mother's Day weekend hanging out at home. I was bummed I missed going to church on Mother's Day... especially because I missed hearing my kids sing and King Sized candy bars!! I'm easy to please. :)
