New Look

So I have been playing around with my blog for days now. I have swam through the sea of HTML code and nearly drowned a few times... :) I am now happy with the results, but the real discovery was this...

For months I have been posting and instead of it showing my pictures, it shows HTML code. I couldn't figure out why my posting was all of a sudden messed up. Well, today I realized there is a tab in the right hand corner of each post that says Edit HTML or Compose and I have been in the Edit HTML tab! HELLO! I am soo happy I figured that out, it only took me six months.

In other news, my kids have been sick with colds all week and so we haven't been able to go anywhere. I just HATE when my kids are sick. I feel like I have started to go crazy being cooped up with two snotty nose kids that whine all day! Thankfully they are doing better and hopefully by next week we will be able to go back to our normal routine.

Also this week, I have been designing a new blog! Of course it's not finished and there aren't any actual posts on it, but it's almost finished. Me and some of my really creative friends are teaming up to do a blog on our projects, crafts, sewing, recipes, etc. I am so excited to get started with it so stay tuned and become a follower of it when it's up and running. :) Have a good weekend.

Spring Break

We spent our Spring Break in Logan and the weather couldn't have been better. I am so happy to report that almost all our snow is melted!! It was so nice having a break from school. I had planned on catching up with school but unfortunately I didn't get much done in the way of homework. We did however get lots done at home.
Andrew and his good friend Jaxson
I made french bread for the first time! I was so excited it turned out great.
I had planned on making some kind of green food for St. Patrick's Day, but all we did to celebrate was make these cute little green hands.
The highlight of my week was when Ben built these cool shelves to organize our garage. I wish I would have taken a before picture, but suffice it to say that it looked like a tornado hit. Ben and our neighbor down the street also made a really cute bed for Olivia but we need a staple gun to finish it so I will wait to post pics.

Cheeeese...

Dear Winter:

Well it was fun, but time to go. We will help you along by shoveling the remnants of snow you left in our backyard.

Welcome back sunshine and Spring!

Birds!

Every once in awhile Ben and I start wishing that we could get animals. That was what we were thinking the first day we took care of these cute little doves from Andrew's preschool. It is now day FIVE and a good thing they are going back to preschool because I am going to go insane! Not only do they stink something fierce despite the fact that I changed their bedding twice this weekend, but they are loud and poop every few minutes so you can never take them out for very long. To top it all off, Olivia has been dubbed the "attempted murderer of birds" and we just won't go into that story. I am officially going to say that we will NEVER in this lifetime be the owners of birds. The End.

Happy Birthday!

My sweet mother-in-law had a birthday! All the family got together last weekend to celebrate and throw her a little party. We made Cafe Rio salads and Carrot Cake and then played Apples to Apples all night. It was tons of fun and I hope she had a good birthday. I feel so blessed to have her as my mother-in-law. She is such a strong person and I really look up to her. Happy Birthday Kathy!

I just love this picture of Quade's face trying to smile for his grandma Edythe.

Maegan and JD got Kathy this really funny Star Wars singing card that Andrew loved!

Yes, more pictures.

Most people probably get tired of seeing pictures of my kids but I know grandparents and family don't so... I keep posting pictures. Enjoy!

This little contraption of Andrew's is called a "boundation hot chocolate" Seriously where does he come up with these things??!

I told Andrew that his chore for the day was to read a book to Olivia. It was so cute to see her looking at the pages and him describing it all to her.

Olivia loves her stuffed animals. I caught her kissing this little Simba by the side of my bed.
My baby is so big ((sniff)) She is now in nursery and even though it breaks my heart how big she is already, it is SOO nice to not have her in Sunday school!

Menus

I work to make a menu plan each week and then as it turns out, I don't feel like making anything on it... Hmmm. PS- My friend started a new recipe blog and there is a drawing for a really cute apron so everyone go enter!!
