Lazy Saturdays...

Last Saturday we went to Chipita Lake in the Uintahs. These are Ben's favorite mountains and he was thrilled to find a little lake that you could drive to. I was thrilled I didn't have to hike very far with three children.

It was gorgeous up there. The pictures don't do it justice. I love Saturdays!

Goodbye Training Wheels!

Look who's riding on TWO wheels! Yay! It only took one hot morning of me running up and down the road behind him. I was sweating buckets and told him I couldn't do it anymore so I let go and he did it all himself. He's had a few crashes but always gets back on. I can't believe my baby is getting so big.

4th of July

Our 4th of July was a lot of fun. We started the morning off by going to the town breakfast. My family has always traveled out to help with the cooking and the fireworks for the town. It just wasn't the same without my grandparents this year but it still turned out great.

Ben was tired after doing "egg duty" for the breakfast.

My cousins selling fireworks.

Christy and Mel taking a breather after the breakfast was over.

Lindsey cleaning the grills.

Playing at the park.

Andrew bummed money off my mom to buy himself some fireworks.

This was after the breakfast in the front yard. Livy found this planter and put it on her head. We went up to the lake after the breakfast but I didn't get any pictures. :(

Up on the hill before fireworks started. It rained and rained almost the whole show.

I love the view of the town from up there. I also managed to catch a firework in the right hand corner.

On Sunday, we went to Upperstillwater where I took Christy's family pictures and toured the dam. It's kind of creepy walking into the dam where all the water is rushing over so loud!

Cute picture of my sister.
My mom was happy to stay behind and watch the baby in the van. It was a great weekend. I even managed to survive all the family staying with us! I admit that after they left, it was pretty lonely around here.

Roses

Anyone that knows me should know that I have an obsession with roses. This is about a fifth of the pictures I have taken around my grandma's yard. They're all so beautiful, I just had to show them all!

Fun Family Pictures

I don't profess to be a professional photographer, but I do love taking pictures! I offered to take pictures of my aunt Christy's family as a Christmas gift last year and we finally got around to it last week at Upperstillwater.

I just loved this pic of Jen and Millie so I had to include it as well. :)

Farnsworth Family Reunion

Last week was the Farnsworth family "Christmas in July" party in Rock Creek. We always have a ton of fun with the Farnsworths and this gathering was no different.

Gunny-sack races for ALL the kids!

Shooting hoops.

Lots of food.

Aunt Sunny kisses.

Beautiful scenery.

The dam at Upper Stillwater was spilling more than I have ever seen it before and it was gorgeous! Such an amazing sight.

I love this picture of Livy. She was happy to just sit and listen to the river. Definitely a daddy's girl. It is breathtakingly beautiful everywhere you look in Rock Creek. We love it there so much we went up twice in one weekend... post forthcoming. :)
