Happy Easter!

Well we had a very eventful Easter weekend!

On Friday, we drove a total of 6 hours! We drove to Duchesne, then to Vernal, sat in a temple session for two hours, and then drove back to Duchesne. Phew, I was sick of sitting! But the temple was wonderful and it was worth the driving to see Ben's brother Sean go through. Words can't describe how awesome it was to have one of Ben's siblings in the temple with us! I am so happy for him.

On Saturday, we woke and ran to the town Easter egg hunt so we didn't miss it! When the siren went off, Ben yelled, "Andrew! Run!" He went running as fast as he could into the middle of the field and then looked around. He didn't know what to do after that. Haha. Finally he realized all the candy on the ground and went crazy. After the hunt, we went and waited to see the Easter Bunny. Andrew enjoyed throwing candy for the kids standing in line to get but we had to make him to stop when he started throwing it at people's heads. :) Andrew loved the Easter Bunny! That child has no fear, unlike Olivia who cried most of the time because someone besides me wanted to hold her... or even look at her for that fact. We didn't even get a picture of her with the bunny because she dozed off.
After the Easter bunny, we went to a party for Ben's grandma. It was her 80th birthday! We then went back to my grandma's house to dye eggs. It's a tradition to have my grandma boil up a dozen eggs for each grandchild and then dye them at her house. Andrew loved designing them. I think they turned out quite cute. After we dyed eggs, we went back up to Maretts to have another egg hunt with Andrew's cousin Quade. They had so much fun looking around the house for prizes and eggs. They played the rest of the afternoon with bubbles and trains. Andrew just loves his cousin! He cried and cried when we had to leave. Saturday night was just horrible because Andrew didn't get a nap in the day and so he woke up twice just screaming his head off. Ugh... needless to say we didn't make it to church with my family as planned and went up to sacrament meeting with Ben's family instead since their church was later. Even though they were exhausted, Andrew and Olivia still looked adorable in their new Easter church clothes my mom got them. Don't you love how Olivia's bow is almost as big as her head? Haha. It was a wonderful weekend and we were sad it was so short. :( It's always so lonely coming home. I wish we lived closer to family. Andrew loves them so much. Ben and I listened to a book on cd on the way home. The book is called Master. I was going to try and explain what it was about but I would slaughter it so... if you want to read a really interesting book on the Savior for this Easter season, try it out. Happy Easter!
