Our kids were thrilled to hear that Santa made it to Logan this year. :) Andrew insisted that since we had seen him in Salt Lake last week that he wouldn't be here. Being the social butterfly that he is, it didn't phase him one bit to go sit on Santa's lap. He told him that he wanted a racing car for Christmas.
Olivia was thrilled to see Santa until we got three feet from him. Then she suddenly clung to my leg and starting crying, "I don't want to see Santa!" He finally won her over with a candy cane. She told him that she wants a princess for Christmas.
It's so fun having kids old enough to be excited about Christmas. Olivia wants to watch Frosty the Snowman everyday and she is constantly asking me to sing "Jinger Bells" "Frosty" or "Santa Claus." When we drive around town at night and see lights, she always yells, "It's Christmas! Look, Christmas!" Andrew had so much fun delivering some treats to a few neighbors this week. I think as we get older, sometimes we start to lose that magic feeling of Christmas, but seeing it through the eyes of a child makes it all come back. I am so excited to spend the holidays with my kids! Only 10 more days!!
