Our first week home with Ruby was pretty crazy. I couldn't hardly move off the couch because of that horrible epidural headache. It was really depressing to not be able to handle even taking care of Ruby without a ton of help. Thankfully my mom and sister stayed awhile and my ward brought tons of meals and then my grandparents came out. After about a week, my headache had eased enough that I could walk around and get some stuff done. We had movers come in and start packing everything up, our ward helped us load, and Ben's parents came to help us clean and pack the rest. I have never needed or appreciated so much help in my life! Moving right after having a baby is soooo nuts. We literally only had one rocking chair for me and a few diapers and wipes towards the end there. But here are a few pictures of sweet little Ruby just 1-2 weeks old.
Millie was in love with Ruby from day one, probably the most of all my kids. She sang to her constantly and asked to hold her all the time.
My grandpa made that cute little pink hat.
